**EDITED**Cory's birthday, a SMO finish and my first dishrag

Cory's birthday was Friday. I took him a personal pan pizza and ate lunch with him and played on the playground then brought cupcakes later in the day. We had a good time together. We had his party Sunday. I thought this cupcake cake would be idea and it wasn't SOOO learn from my mistake. These were so messy. The icing was everywhere. There was literally enough icing for another cake.

Here is a small finish from SMO. I'd like to make it into something special. I think I'll look through my ribbon and make it into wrap for a candle jar.
Here's what I came up with for a candle wrap. I think it turned out pretty good for just an idea, lol. My fabric was too small to go around the jar so I pieced it together with some ribbon. Thinking now I want a new wrap for every holiday.

My daughter came home from school one day wanting to crochet. Like always she gave up so I thought I'd try again. I watched a few videos on youtube and made this dishrag. It could def. be better but I'm proud of my first try. Cory liked it so much he wanted 2 so he cut this one. Nice huh???

  1. Happy Birthday to Cory!! The turkey is so adorable! The dishcloth looks great!

  2. Great work Tara! I LOVE the candle wrap. You did a great job with it. :D Cathryn

  3. Nice finishes Tara. I really like your candle jar wrap. He's just too cute. And I can see where Cory cut the dishrag. But that's all right, I hope. Keep up the good work and you'll be making anything you want before long. Don't forget to leave time for stitching though!
