Had to take a break from my Sweet Flowers SAL (forgot to take a picture). I worked on the Season SAL from Sylvia at syku66.blogspot.com. Hoping the next part comes out soon. Stitching them on a band. Didn't get it centered but thats ok cause I think I can make it work.
I love Grand Marquoir. I've decided on 3 colors instead of just 2. I'm thinking if I do 3 blocks a week I can get it done by the end of the year. LOL We will see if I can do it. I seem to frog each block at least once :( That's all I have to report at the moment. My little one is graduating Kindergarten this week and my big one is graduating high school next week :) There will be tears shed these next two weeks.
your spring SAL turned out beautiful
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that band piece of fabric. How cool is that with the pretty borders. And what a nice way to show off those seasons. Love the stitching on sampler piece.
ReplyDeleteI love the band you are using and it looks fine to me. You really cant tell you are off unless you look at it good. It is very pretty. Good luck on your goals for Grand Marquoir.
ReplyDeleteBig grats to both kids, Tara. Your SAL looks great, and good luck with the Marquoir. I hope you get it done on time.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Quincy and Cory! Pictures looks great! The SAL is very lovely and I love the spring.
