New Ornament, Biscornu and Snow Buddy

Got a few finishes in so far this week. They are small but still makes me happy to finish :)
This one is from Cathryn of Blueladie Designs. I have stitched a few of her things. Love them all. This one was super quick to stitch and so very pretty.

This biscornu freebie can be found here

This little Snow Buddy was designed by Carla Rizzie of One Crazy Stitcher Designs.

Finishes and Exchanges

This is going to be quick, I'm too tired to think....

San-Man Originals has a Halloween SAL on the forum. Here is the first part of mine. Haven't see the other parts but I am assuming one is a pumpkin and one a tombstone. New parts come out on Sunday.

Made a biscornu for a fall exchange. I bought the pattern from the floss box for .90. Can't beat that. Here is the back.

And here is the front :)
This last little bit is some goodies I received in an exchange. I was def. spoiled. Cory grabbed a few things right away. He is loving the pumpkin headband, lol.

Thanks Georgena :) You have spoiled me my friend!!

January 30,2011

I've gotten a little bit done this week. The month is over and I'm no where near my goals but still think I got alot done.

This is Grande Marquoir. I wanted to get 5 sections done this month but I think this is all I'll get done. I am doing it over one and my eyes yell at me after a few stitches and let me just say it is reallly hard to frog over one and then I have red fuzz every where. I was about to give up last night and get a bigger piece of fabric and start from scratch, but I'm going to stick with it. I think it looks nice over one.
Here is the start of my second ornament for this month. It is from gazette94. I "might" have this finished before the end of the month so I can meet my 2 ornaments a month goal but I doubt it.

I finished my 15 sided biscornu today. It is far from perfect but it could def. be worse, lol.

And here is the latest part of the SMO SAL. You don't have any idea how hard it is to quit, lol.

This is the second part to the SMO SAL. A new area is done each week.
Here's all the parts for the 15 sides biscornu.

Here is the top and bottom all stitched up.

And lastly I've finished A Time for Christmas Cookies by SMO. I'll make it into a cube before Christmas, lol...

WIPS and Oak Haven 2010 Finish

I've come to the fast realization that I won't be making my January goals and I've added some things to it, lol. First I know I won't get 1 1/2 pages of Halloween House done. Doesn't mean I won't try, just gonna plug along and do what I can. Here's what I've gotten done last week. Not much but better than nothing right?

Seba Designs SAL. This is something new that I've added to my list :)

Halloween House

Making my first ever 15-sided Biscornu. I haven't done much but here's what I'm doing for at least 5 of the squares. I'm taking a class for this one through Frosty Design Stitchers.

AND TAAADAAAA OakHavens 2010 SAL is complete. I made it my own and put the 2010 at the bottom. I'm pretty proud of that, lol.

I also have one other finish. It's the first part of the SMO SAL. I forgot to take a picture but that's ok cause we aren't supposed to start it until the 15th anyway. That ones going to be so pretty!

Totally Finished Biscornu and Frog for Quilt

Bought the buttons for my biscornu yesterday so here you go! Love it and want to show it off :)

Here is a frog I made for a quilt. I'll be sending this to Mary in a few days. This quilt will be going to a very sick kid. The frog is meaningful in his life....Fully Rely on God If you'd like to make charity blocks we'd love to have you in the group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KraftersKornerCharityQuilts/

My First Biscornu!

This is my first biscornu. It is by http://www.creativepoppypatterns.com/barbaraana-spring-biscornu-cross-stitch-xml-214_229-1117.html Isn't this the greatest? I still need some buttons for it but I'm loving it. I was so terrified of making one, but I'm so glad I did, it was so easy and I'm on the lookout for more. I used the 14 ct Aida called Grasshopper.
