Finishes and Exchanges

This is going to be quick, I'm too tired to think....

San-Man Originals has a Halloween SAL on the forum. Here is the first part of mine. Haven't see the other parts but I am assuming one is a pumpkin and one a tombstone. New parts come out on Sunday.

Made a biscornu for a fall exchange. I bought the pattern from the floss box for .90. Can't beat that. Here is the back.

This last little bit is some goodies I received in an exchange. I was def. spoiled. Cory grabbed a few things right away. He is loving the pumpkin headband, lol.

A Finish and an Exchange

Finished this cute pumpkin up today. It was a fun and fast stitch. My cubes could use alot more work, lol. This one is called Halloween Visitor by Blueladie Designs.

I recieved this beautiful coaster today from Grandma Dee. For this exchange we were supposed to make a coaster of any type. It could be stitched, painted, knitted whatever the giver wanted. I love this one. Tennessee is one of my favorite states too :)

Some Friday Finishes-New and Old

It has been a while since I've posted on here. It's sad that I don't have much to add. When I was uploading my pics from my camera it was very obvious my 5 year old had been playing with the camera. Here is a closeup he got of Bugsy. I love this pic. It reminds me of a greeting card.

In my krafterskorner group one of the exchanges was to dye a piece of fabric and send it to your partner along with some floss. Here is the one I dyed for my partner Vicky. I love the way it turned out and think it looked way better in person. I'll post pics of the one I got from my partner in a few days. Cory is borrowing my batteries for the Wii.

These are the ornaments I sent my partner, Carein, for the krafters Korner Christmas in September exchange. I love the way they turned out. Both are freebies found on the net. I love exchanges. They are the best thing in the world! I got this one from Carla in Krafters Korner for the Patriotic Exchange. Its wonderful!! Thank you so much Carla!! This is what I sent her. I used the Stardusted Gold Aida. I wish you could see how pretty it is. I think it worked great with this.

This is the first time I have made these. I took a tin that used to have skoal or something in it. My mom got me a few from her work. I put my finished piece on it, some cute fabric on back and stuck a magnet in it for needles. I'm hoping it holds up cause I wasn't sure what i was doing.

Here's everything all together I sent. This was afun exchange to put together.

Here's a magnet I got from my partner in the KraftersKorner Exchange. I LOVE the beads on it. This picture doesn't do it justice. Wonderful job she's done on it.
The next 2 are pics of a magnet I made for the Cross Stitch Board exchange. This is using EMS's freebies found on the forum site. Cute little magnet. Haven't recived mine from my partner yet :(

And lastly here are pics of my beloved Jeff who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 19th. I got Jeff for my 18th birthday in 1997. I had a wonderful 13 years with Jeff and miss him so much. Everyday I think I see him in the house but to look and its a black sweater or shirt or towel. He has given me wonderful memories, headaches and tears. Love you Jeff!!

Some Stitchy Updates

Not in a chatty mood so this will be short and to the point, lol.

My Little Heart Sal April is finished :)

The next is my first cube. There is lots of improvement to be made but I don't think it's bad for my first one. The chart is a freebie from http://www.waxingmoondesigns.com/free.html. The chart, floss and all backing was sent during a freebie exchange in krafterskorner. I'm really thinking I need to do the other freebies from waxing moon and make them into cubes too. Hopefully the more I do the better they turn out.

April is done for Oak Haven Designs Sal. I love the colors of floss and aida for this one. I think they match each other perfectly.
