I have a few finishes this week but only one of them is cross stitching. I have finished the OakHaven Owl SAL. I loved this! SALs are my favorite thing. I have a few I'm doing this year. Now that this one is finished I can start on the others.
My hubbys grandma loved doing puzzles. I've been thinking of her alot this week and bought a set of 10 puzzles. I got 2 finished this week. Both of them had 300 pieces so they weren't overly big. They are so pretty. I am pretty sure I have seen these in cross stitch form. I don't think I would be brave enough to attempt that. Way too many colors and confetti for me, lol.
Tara your Owl SAL is wonderful. Congrats on the finish. Come on you could stitch either one of those puzzels. It is just one stitch at a time. lol
ReplyDeleteI have been watching you stitch the owl SAL and have really enjoyed the progress. This is just adorable Tara.. I can't wait to see the new SALs you're going to start.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzles are gorgeous. 300 pieces seems like a lot to me and the complexity of the puzzle would do me in. lol Congratulations on each of your finishes.
:9)

ReplyDeleteYour owls came out great! I love them, now I need to do mine. Congratulations! The puzzles are pretty too. I could see them as a HAED patterns.
ReplyDeleteOwls look great! Love the butterfly puzzle too... Congrats on your finishes!
ReplyDeleteI really like your owls - they are really cute!!
ReplyDeleteGrats on the stitchy finish, Tara. And on the puzzles too. I would bet that they're on the HAED website. I'm pretty sure the artist is Josephine Wall. they're very reminiscent of her patterns.
