This is what it looked like last night around 9. Today its pretty much gone. The only sign it was there is a scrape and some bruising.
I was inspired by my friend Mary to make January goals so here they are....
-2 Ornaments (finished one and one to go)
-Finish 2010 OakHaven SAL
-5 blocks Grande Marquoir
-Finish A Time for Christmas Cookies
-San-Man Sal (starts on the 15th and will work on Saturdays)
-5 sections of Northern Nights
-1 1/2 pages of Halloween House
Here's where I'm at on them. All of the pictures are WIP that I started before 2011 except the Northern Nights and the Finished Reindeer Ornament.

This is Northern Nights. I'm going with black aida :) I just love black.
Grande Marquoir. I think I am using 28 ct but I'm doing it over 1. Way too much for a girl with bad eyes....
Gingerbread Smile
And lastly is this one Christmas Cookies. It was a freebie on San-Mans board.
This is going to be a fun month and if I get everything done like I want I'll have at least 3 finishes, two of which will be ornaments and I'd like to make A Time for Christmas Cookies into a cube. I'll be working on Gingerbread Smile some but it isn't one of my goals for this month. It's something small I take with me when I'm running errands so there isn't a lot to carry around.
Wow what a big egg... thankfully it's almost gone now.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge for January, good luck with it!!

ReplyDeleteWOW That is a big lump!
ReplyDeleteAs for running and not seeing the monkey bars that he was heading for.... I have seen many of these accidents... in fact one year I was working at an elementary school and one of the boys was doing just that.... running and all of a sudden BAM! He ran into a ramada (covered patio) and he had a huge lump that continued to grow. They just do not pay attention the where they are going only to what they are running from. LOL
OMG that is some bump! I like the second pic better it doesn't look so bad! I LOVE your stitchy pieces. I'll be here cheering you on! I'm doing the SanMan SAL too!!! :D Cathryn
